Group/Gang Rules:
Groups should be hospitable to strangers. There’s no reason to attack someone IC without initiation and good-IC-reason; and even outlaw groups need to adhere to this. All initiation and roleplay rules still apply to outlaws and criminals as they conduct their activities.
No group in county may exceed 12 characters. Each group leader must make a ticket to the administrators, submitting a roster of all 12 players. This applies to criminal and civilian groups of any kind. Administrators will create a Discord channel with group leadership to maintain accurate and up-to-date rosters.
Additionally, groups have business limitations. One group cannot own, or engage in work from, all parts of a gun production line. (ex; maximum two of three: carpenter, blacksmith and gunsmith, may be operated by members of the group.)
Characters who are part of known criminal groups cannot hold another whitelisted job such as medical, realtor or law enforcement. Please see the first section, Roleplay Rules, for more detail on alternate-character crossover between law enforcement and criminals.
When taking players hostage, ensure that you’re keeping them less than 30 minutes of real-world time. Since you’re taking them forcefully out of their RP, keep this to a respectful amount before releasing them or coming to an agreement in RP. If an officer is taken hostage, ensure there are enough officers on duty to handle other players’ concerns, not just your scenario.
Gang Wars: Fighting each other for power or territory is awesome RP! However, we want gang leads to be in OOC agreement on the ‘terms’ of these interactions.
Please submit a ticket with the proposal for your war.
Where it’s happening, which groups are involved, any other key information.
Gang Identifiers: hats, sashes, coats or coordinated outfit colors
Make sure each gang is given a fighting chance and proper initiation.
Group leadership are responsible for making all of their members aware of the situation.
All roleplay rules must be followed.
Most importantly; consider how often you participate in criminal or outlaw roleplay. While it’s all in good fun to take on these criminal activities, too-frequent robberies can become a nuisance and feel like griefing to other players.
Try not to commit more robberies than the towns around you & their law enforcement can handle. Make sure to give it a break every once in a while! Good criminals are wise about when it’s time to go into hiding and plot their next moves.
Remember that the person behind the other keyboard is also spending their free time trying to have fun in this game. Robbing the same person or group multiple times a day can frustrate them; and we want all players to feel like they have a chance at playing the RP they’re most interested in.
